2.1 When you use our website purely for informational purposes, without registering or transmitting information to us in other ways, we only collect data that your browser transmits to the server hosting the website (so-called „server log files“). When you access our website, we collect the following data that is technically necessary for us to display the website:

    • The website visited

    • Date and time of access

    • Amount of data sent in bytes

    • Source/reference from which you arrived at the site

    • Browser used

Processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in improving the stability and functionality of our website. The data will not be shared or used for other purposes. However, we reserve the right to retrospectively check the server log files if there are concrete indications of unlawful use.

2.2 This website uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of personal data and other confidential content (e.g., orders or inquiries sent to the controller). You can recognize an encrypted connection by the „https://“ prefix and the lock symbol in your browser’s address bar.

    1. Hosting and Content Delivery Network

For hosting our website and displaying its content, we use a service provider who provides these services either on its own servers or through selected subcontractors exclusively within the European Union.

All data collected on our website is processed on these servers. We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider, ensuring the protection of our website visitors‘ data and prohibiting unauthorized sharing with third parties.

    1. Cookies

To make visiting our website more attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, we use cookies—small text files stored on your device. Some of these cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser (so-called “session cookies”), while others remain on your device longer to save your settings (so-called “persistent cookies”). You can find the storage duration for persistent cookies in your browser’s cookie settings.

If personal data is processed by certain cookies used by us, this is done in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (for contract execution), Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (if consent has been given), or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (to safeguard our legitimate interests in ensuring optimal website functionality and a user-friendly visit).

You can configure your browser to notify you about the setting of cookies and decide individually whether to accept them, exclude cookies for certain cases, or generally prevent their use. Please note that disabling cookies may limit the functionality of our website.

    1. Contact

5.1 WhatsApp Business We provide visitors to our website the option to contact us via the WhatsApp messaging service provided by WhatsApp Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland. For this purpose, we use the “Business” version of WhatsApp.

If you contact us via WhatsApp for a specific business matter (e.g., an order), we will store and use the mobile number you use on WhatsApp and, if provided, your first and last name in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR to process and respond to your request. Similarly, we may ask for additional data (e.g., order number, customer number, address, or email address) to associate your inquiry with a specific matter.

For general inquiries (e.g., regarding our services, availability, or website), we store and use your WhatsApp number and, if provided, your name based on our legitimate interest in efficiently and promptly providing the requested information (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Your data will only be used to respond to your inquiry via WhatsApp and will not be shared with third parties. Please note that WhatsApp Business has access to the address book of the mobile device we use for this service, automatically transmitting phone numbers stored there to servers of its parent company, Meta Platforms Inc., in the USA. To ensure privacy, we store only WhatsApp contact data of users who have contacted us via WhatsApp.

For more details on data collection and usage by WhatsApp, as well as your rights and settings for protecting your privacy, please refer to WhatsApp’s privacy policy: https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/?eea=1#privacy-policy.

5.2 Other Contact Methods When contacting us (e.g., via contact form or email), personal data will be processed solely to respond to your inquiry and only to the extent necessary. Processing is based on our legitimate interest in responding to your inquiry (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). If your inquiry aims to enter into a contract, the additional legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Your data will be deleted when it is no longer needed, provided there are no statutory retention obligations.

    1. Data Processing for Order Fulfillment

Personal data collected for order processing may be shared with the shipping company or financial institution responsible for delivery or payment as required under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Where legally required, we may process your contact data (e.g., name, address, email) to inform you of updates to goods or digital elements based on Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.

We also work with service providers who assist in contract fulfillment. Certain personal data will be shared with these service providers as necessary.

    1. Data Processing for Advertising Purposes

7.1 Newsletter If you subscribe to our email newsletter, we will send you regular information about our offers. The only mandatory information required to receive the newsletter is your email address. The provision of any other data is voluntary and used to personalize the newsletter. For sending newsletters, we use the „double opt-in“ procedure. This means that you will only receive newsletters after you have explicitly confirmed your consent to receiving them by clicking on a verification link sent to the email address provided. By confirming, you consent to the use of your personal data in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. When you subscribe to the newsletter, we store your IP address and the date and time of registration. This serves as proof in case your email address is misused. You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the link provided in the email or by contacting us directly. After unsubscribing, your email address will be immediately deleted from our mailing list unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we are legally permitted to store the data for another purpose.

7.2 Newsletter Sent via Service Providers Our newsletter is sent via an external service provider, with whom we have concluded a data processing agreement to ensure the protection of your personal data. The service provider will use your data exclusively for sending the requested emails.

    1. Web Analytics Services

This website uses various analytics services to evaluate user behavior and improve the website’s design. The processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, representing our legitimate interest in statistical analysis. You can deactivate these services at any time by configuring your browser settings or using specific browser add-ons.

    1. Social Media Links and Plug-ins

Our website includes links to social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Clicking on these links directs you to the respective providers, at which point data processing may occur. For detailed information, please refer to the privacy policies of the respective platforms.

    1. Duration of Storage of Personal Data

The duration of the storage of personal data is determined by the respective legal basis, the processing purpose, and—if applicable—any statutory retention periods (e.g., commercial and tax law retention periods).

When processing personal data based on explicit consent pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, the data in question will be stored until you withdraw your consent.

If statutory retention periods apply to data processed in the context of contractual or quasi-contractual obligations under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, such data will be routinely deleted upon expiration of the retention periods, provided they are no longer required for fulfilling the contract or initiating a contract and/or there is no legitimate interest on our part in continuing the storage.

When processing personal data based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, such data will be stored until you exercise your right to object pursuant to Article 21(1) GDPR, unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or the processing serves to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

When processing personal data for the purpose of direct advertising based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, such data will be stored until you exercise your right to object pursuant to Article 21(2) GDPR.

Unless otherwise specified in the other sections of this statement regarding specific processing situations, stored personal data will be deleted when it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed.
