WHAT DATA WE PROCESS
When you visit our Website, we may process technical data (server log data) to display the site and keep it secure. This may include your IP address, date/time of access, requested pages/files, referrer URL, browser/device information, and status codes.
If you contact us by email, we process your email address, your name (if provided), the content of your message, attachments, and communication metadata.
If you contact us via WhatsApp, you will use a service provided by WhatsApp/Meta. WhatsApp processes data under its own responsibility (e.g., phone number, profile data, metadata, and message content depending on your settings). We process the information you send us to respond to your request and communicate with you.
WHY WE PROCESS DATA (LEGAL BASES)
We process personal data for the following purposes:
• Website operation and security — legal basis: legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)
• Business communication (email/WhatsApp) — legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and/or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR
• Legal obligations (e.g., retention duties) — legal basis: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR
• Website statistics (Burst Statistics) — legal basis: legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); where consent is required (e.g., due to cookies/configuration): consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR)
COOKIES & CONSENT (COOKIEYES)
We use CookieYes to manage cookies and similar technologies. CookieYes stores your consent choices (accepted/rejected categories), a consent ID, timestamp, and technical data needed to apply your settings.
Essential cookies may be set without consent because they are required for the Website to function securely and properly. Non-essential cookies (e.g., analytics/statistics or marketing) are only set if you consent via the cookie banner, where required.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings/banner (if available) and/or through your browser settings.
WEBSITE ANALYTICS (BURST STATISTICS)
We use Burst Statistics (self-hosted WordPress analytics) to understand how our Website is used and to improve performance and content. It measures aggregated metrics such as pageviews, referrers, and device/browser categories. Analytics data is stored on our server and configured to minimise personal data. If cookies are used in your setup, they are managed via CookieYes where required.
GOOGLE FONTS
We use Google Fonts for consistent typography. When you visit our Website, your browser may load fonts from Google servers (e.g., Google APIs / Google CDN). In this process, your IP address and technical information may be transmitted to Google.
Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), where required via our cookie/consent banner. If Google Fonts are loaded without consent in your configuration, the legal basis is legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
THIRD-PARTY LINKS (INCLUDING WHATSAPP)
Our Website may contain links to third-party services (such as WhatsApp) and external websites. When you use third-party services, their privacy policies apply. We do not control how third parties process personal data.
RECIPIENTS / SERVICE PROVIDERS
We may share personal data with trusted providers only where necessary (e.g., hosting/IT providers, email/communication providers, professional advisors). Where providers act as processors, we use appropriate agreements as required by law.
INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
Some providers (including Google and WhatsApp/Meta) may process data outside the EEA. Where required, transfers are protected using recognised safeguards (e.g., adequacy decisions and/or contractual safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses).
RETENTION
We keep personal data only as long as needed:
• Server logs: for security/operational purposes, then deleted
• Email/WhatsApp inquiries: as long as needed to handle your request and follow-up, longer only if legally required
• Burst Statistics: stored in aggregated form as needed and deleted when no longer required
SECURITY
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. However, no online transmission is completely secure.
YOUR RIGHTS
Where GDPR applies, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time.
To exercise your rights, contact: team@dll-digitalsquad.com
COMPLAINTS
You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. In Cyprus, this is the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection.
UPDATES
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows the latest revision.
